The Hampton Rovers Football Club is now recruiting for 2017! We welcome everyone to get involved, both on and off the field. See below for further information.
Hampton Rovers Football Club is a proud community club with over 85 years of history and we strive to be one of the leading sports clubs in the Bayside area. The club has great facilities at our two home grounds - Boss James Reserve and Castlefield Reserve. Both grounds boast quality playing surfaces and new quality lighting, while the player and spectator facilities at the Boss have been upgraded in recent years with further improvements planned at both venues.
The Hampton Rovers senior teams participate in the VAFA – Australia’s largest senior football competition – and the club offers football from the introductory stage with our Auskick program, through to junior and senior football, while the club will see the return of female football in 2017 with up to four junior girls teams and one open-age women's team.
In 2017 the Rovers plan to field more than 20 teams with U8’s through to U17’s competing in the SMJFL and U19’s, Thirds, Reserves & Seniors competing in the VAFA, plus junior and open-age female teams. Over 400 players wore the green & gold in 2016 plus around 200 participants in our Auskick program.
Hampton Rovers is a community-focussed club and not only do we provide the ideal opportunity for players of all ages and abilities to play football, but also provide a great environment off the field through various social functions and the general atmosphere that surrounds our great club.
The Rovers welcome everyone to our club. Whether you’re an experienced player looking to play at the highest level in local footy, a player wanting a more relaxed environment to play in the thirds, a parent wanting to get your kids into footy, a business looking for greater exposure by sponsoring the club, or a supporter wishing to get behind the club or volunteer, there is no better time than 2017 to get on board the Rovers.
